Today is my 3rd year wedding anniversary. It’s been one of those kind of sad and happy remembrances. Right now we’re pretty broke as we’re between moving to another place and my husband just started another job so we don’t have the funds to celebrate. But we had a omelet together and walked our dog in the woods. A lot has changed in the 3 years since the wedding, some of it I’m still kind of sad about, but in the end I’m still happily married and living a great life with my husband and pursuing my dreams.

I’m finishing a really important hurtle in my dissertation process and then I can finally put more energy towards art, and I don’t just mean sketchy doodles, but actually fully colored art and some fun craft projects. This weekend my mate, Triad fox was here and we worked on some collaborations which I’m really excited to share. So yay more art coming soon.

My husband and I are going to get a chance to LARP again come next month at the Phoenix NERO’s summer campsite in Williams just outside of Flagstaff. I’m so excited to get to LARP as it’s been close to 6 years since we did and that was how Puppy and I actually met. Also it’s going to be so awesome to get to LARP in Williams, with great weather and no bugs.

While it was originally believed that he had left the series due to insufficient pay, Yost later revealed in his 2010 interview with No Pink Spandex that he left the series because he could no longer handle harassment by the production crew that targeted his sexual orientation. He was often called a “faggot”, and the producers would take other cast members into their office to ask them questions about Yost’s sexuality. Yost left late in the fourth season after a week of contemplation instead of continuing work another six months into the second film. His co-workers involved with writing, filming and producing the show gave Yost a vibe that he was “not worthy” of where he was and that he “can’t be a superhero” because of him being homosexual. His only close companion was Amy Jo Johnson( The Pink Ranger) . Unable to see her friend mistreated, Amy Quit the show along side David, Prompting a character script change.

Scott Page-Pagter - a producer of the show starting with Power Rangers Zeo - responded through TMZ that Yost left over a pay bonus being dropped but did not elaborate on it, or dispute any of Yost’s claims outside reasons for leaving the show; Saban Entertainment did not make an official statement.

After Yost left Power Rangers, he tried to get rid of his homosexuality with conversion therapy for two years, but this failed. Eventually Yost had a nervous breakdown which resulted in his psychiatric hospitalization for five weeks. After Yost checked out, he moved to Mexico for a year and eventually accepted his sexuality. David Yost, the original Blue ranger. Yost left the show tormented with repressed homosexuality, entered a “pray the gay away” Program. David has now come to terms with his sexuality and is an avid advocate for marriage equality and anti-bullying lgbt organizations.
